Reminder: important year-end dates

As we wrap up the year, here are our office hours for the holiday season and the deadlines for investment, life, and disability transactions

Payment dates for RRIFs/LIFs

Since our offices will be closed until January 2^nd, 2026, RRIF/LIFs payments for the period between January 1^st and 2^nd will be sent to the financial institutions on January 6^th. Your clients will receive their payments in the following days.

Investment accounts: maximum enrolment age increased for the 75/100 enhanced guarantee 

Good news: The maximum age to apply for the 75/100 enhanced guarantee in investment accounts has been increased, depending on the plan.

Why this change? To better meet your clients’ needs and align with the maximum age for converting to an RRSP or LIF.

This new age gives clients more flexibility to apply later, based on their needs.

Key points to apply

• Attach the questionnaire to every business insurance application to ensure a thorough analysis and speed up processing.
• Easily accessible via the Document Centre.
• If you’re using a paper application, the questionnaire is already included.
